Chapter History | In the summer of 2002, Sorors Saletta Dunbar and Caresse Hightower started the beginning steps to establishing Theta Nu Xi’s second GAP chapter. Interestingly enough, most of the brainstorming was done in the Dominican Republic when Dunbar and Hightower went on an impromptu vacation. With the diligent help of sorority founder Katherine Stanley and Alpha chapter alumnae Jerri Kallam & Tera Mason, Xi Beta was nationally recognized September 30, 2002.

The chapter is anchored in Greensboro, NC and includes members from all over the state of North Carolina, including the Charlotte, Durham, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem areas.
